al-Isrā’ (The Night Journey)
ٱلْإِسْرَاء
17:99
أَوَلَمْ
يَرَوْا
أَنَّ
اللَّهَ
الَّذِي
خَلَقَ
السَّمَاوَاتِ
وَالْأَرْضَ
قَادِرٌ
عَلَى
أَن
يَخْلُقَ
مِثْلَهُمْ
وَجَعَلَ
لَهُمْ
أَجَلًا
لَّا
رَيْبَ
فِيهِ
فَأَبَى
الظَّالِمُونَ
إِلَّا
كُفُورًا
ʾa-wa-lam yaraw ʾanna llāha lladhī khalaqa s-samāwāti wa-l-ʾarḍa qādirun ʿalā ʾan yakhluqa mithlahum wa-jaʿala lahum ʾajalan lā rayba fīhi fa-ʾabā ẓ-ẓālimūna ʾillā kufūran
Do they not realize that God, who has created the heavens and the earth, has the power to create their like? He has given them life for an appointed time of which there is no doubt. The unjust turn away in disbelief (from Our revelation).
