Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Isma’il ibn Marrar from Yunus from Mu‘awiyah ibn Wahab who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘ Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about the animals slaughtered by the people of the book. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not unlawful if they mention the name of Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, and I mean those of them who are on the command of Moses and Jesus.’”
