6. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Afi ibn af-Hassan ibn Ribat from Hariz from ‘ Abd af-Rahman ibn abu ‘Abd Allah who has said the following:

“I heard abu Hanifah ask abu ‘Abd Allah , about al-Mut‘ah (advantageous matters). He (the Imam) asked, ‘Are you asking about the two al-Mut‘ah (advantageous matters)? 5 He said, ‘I asked you about al-Mut‘ah (advantageous matters of al-Hajj) and you inform me about al-Mut‘ah (advantageous marriage) is it true?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Allah is free of all defects, have you not read the book of Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, “If you marry them for al-Mut‘ah (advantageous marriage) you must pay their dowries. . . .”’ (4:24). Abu Hanifah said, ‘By Allah, it is as if I have never read this verse. 5 ”
