17. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following: “Once, a people from Khurasan, from Transoxiana came to abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s). He (the Imam) asked them, ‘Do you shake hands with the people of your country and marry them? If you shake hands with them a ring of the rings of Islam is cut and if you marry them the privacy between you and Allah is violated.’”
