إِلا أَنَّهُ قَالَ فَإِنْ بَغَتْ مَعَهُ غَيْرَهُ.
2. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from Muhammad ibn Ali from Muhammad ibn al-Fudayl from Sa‘d al-Jallab who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, has not placed pride in women. Such feeling comes from detested ones among them; however, the believing ones of them are free of pride. Allah has placed pride in men; He has made lawful for men up to four and those whom they own (slaves). For women He has made only their husband so if she wants more besides him she is a fornicator before Allah.’ He (the narrator) has said that al-Qasim ibn Yahya has narrated from his grandfather al-Hassan ibn Rashid from abu Bakr al-Hadramiy from abu ‘Abd Allah
, except that he has said, ‘Baghat’ (sought) instead of ‘Aradat’ (wanted).”
