A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ali ibn Asbat and Muhammad ibn al-Husayn all from Hakam ibn Miskin from ‘Ammar who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , once said to Sulayman ibn Khalid and I, ‘I have made al-Mut‘ah (advantageous marriage) unlawful for you from my side as long as you are in al-Madinah because you come very often to me and I am afraid you will be caught and it will be said, “These are companions of Ja’far.’””
