From him, from Muhammad ibn Sahl from Imam al-Ridha عليه السلام, peace be upon him, who said: Imam al-Ridha عليه السلام said: “The imam (of prayer) bears the mistakes (or forgetfulness) of those behind him, except for the opening takbir (takbirat al-ihram).”
