Ali ibn Hatim from Muhammad ibn Ja’far, who said: Muhammad ibn al-Husayn ibn Abi al-Khattab narrated to me, who said: Muhammad ibn Hammad narrated to me from his father, from Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, who said: Imam al-Sadiq عليه السلام said: “There is no believing servant who supplicates to Allah سبحانه وتعالى with these (supplications), turning his heart sincerely to Allah سبحانه وتعالى, Mighty and Majestic, except that Allah سبحانه وتعالى, Mighty and Majestic, fulfills his need for him. And even if he were wretched, I would hope that he would be transformed into one of the blessed.”
