You perform two units of prayer and say: “O’ You عز وجل who is excellent in trials, be with me. O’ You عز وجل who is ancient in forgiveness, pardon me. O’ You عز وجل whom nothing can do without, O’ You عز وجل whom everything is in need of, O’ You عز وجل to whom everything returns, O’ You عز وجل to whom all matters end take charge of me, my Master عز وجل, And do not hand over my affairs to the worst of Your creation. You عز وجل are my Creator and my Sustainer, O’ my Master عز وجل, so do not forsake me.” Then you perform two units of prayer and say: “O’ Allah سبحانه وتعالى, send blessings upon (Prophet) Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم and the family of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم, And make me among the most fortunate of Your servants in every good that You عز وجل have sent down on this night or that You عز وجل will send down of light by which You عز وجل guide, or of mercy which You عز وجل spread, or of sustenance which You عز وجل expand, or of harm which You عز وجل remove, or of affliction which You عز وجل lift, or of evil which You عز وجل repel, or of trial which You عز وجل avert and write for me what You عز وجل have written for Your righteous friends who have earned from You عز وجل the reward and have been secured by Your pleasure from the punishment. O’ Generous! O’ Generous! O’ Generous! Send blessings upon (Prophet) Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم and the family of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم, hasten their relief, forgive me my sin, bless for me my earnings, make me content with what You عز وجل have provided me, and do not test me with what You عز وجل have withheld from me.” Then you perform two units of prayer and say: “O’ Allah سبحانه وتعالى, to You عز وجل I have raised my hands, and in what is with You عز وجل my desire has greatly increased, so accept, O’ my Master عز وجل, my repentance, have mercy on my weakness, forgive me and have mercy on me, and grant me a share in every good and a path to every good. O’ Allah سبحانه وتعالى, I seek refuge in You عز وجل from arrogance and from positions of disgrace in this world and the Hereafter. O’ Allah سبحانه وتعالى, send blessings upon (Prophet) Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم and the family of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم. And forgive me for the sins that have passed, and protect me in what remains of my life. Bring upon me the means of Your obedience and employ me in them. Turn away from me the causes of Your disobedience and place a barrier between me and them. Place me, my family, and my children in Your trusts that are never lost. Protect me from the Fire, and turn away from me the evil of the wicked among the jinn and humans, and the evil of every possessor of evil, and the evil of every weak or strong being among Your creation, and the evil of every creature whose forelock You عز وجل hold. Truly, You عز وجل have power over all things.” Then you perform two units of prayer and say: “O’ Allah سبحانه وتعالى, You عز وجل are exalted in status, mighty in dominion, severe in strength, magnificent in majesty, powerful, overwhelming, near in mercy, true in promise, faithful in covenant, near, responsive, hearer of supplication, acceptor of repentance, enumerator of what You عز وجل have created, capable of what You عز وجل will, perceiver of whomever You عز وجل pursue, provider for whomever You عز وجل create, grateful when thanked, mindful when remembered. So I ask You عز وجل, O’ my God عز وجل, as one in need; and I turn to You عز وجل as a poor one; and I humble myself to You عز وجل as one in fear; and I weep to You عز وجل as one distressed; and I hope in You عز وجل as a helper; and I seek forgiveness from You عز وجل as one weak; and I rely upon You عز وجل seeking reward; and I seek provision from You عز وجل with open hope. And I ask You عز وجل, O’ my God عز وجل, to send blessings upon (Prophet) Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم and the family of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم, and that You عز وجل forgive me my sins, accept my deeds, ease my return, and bring relief to my heart. My God عز وجل, I ask You عز وجل to confirm my hope, pardon my sin, and protect me from disobedience. My God عز وجل, I have grown weak, and I have no strength; I have become incapable, and I have no power. My God عز وجل, I have come to You عز وجل as one who has wronged his own soul, acknowledging the evil of my deeds. I have remembered my heedlessness and become fearful of what I have done. So send blessings upon (Prophet) Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم and the family of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم, be pleased with me, and fulfill all of my needs of this world and the Hereafter, O’ Most Merciful of the merciful.” Then you perform two units of prayer and say: “O’ Allah سبحانه وتعالى, I ask You عز وجل for well-being from the hardship of affliction, the gloating of enemies, the evil of judgment, the attainment of misery, And from harm in livelihood; And that You عز وجل do not test me with a trial beyond my endurance, nor place over me a tyrant, nor tear away from me a covering, nor expose my faults, nor call me to account on the Day of Resurrection with precise measure at the time when I am most in need of Your pardon and Your overlooking of me. So I ask You عز وجل by Your noble Face and Your perfect words to send blessings upon (Prophet) Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم and the family of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم, And that You عز وجل make me among those whom You عز وجل have freed and released from the Fire. O’ Allah سبحانه وتعالى, send blessings upon (Prophet) Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم and the family of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم, And admit me into Paradise, and make me among its inhabitants and dwellers. O’ Allah سبحانه وتعالى, I seek refuge in You عز وجل from the seizing flames of the Fire. O’ Allah سبحانه وتعالى, send blessings upon (Prophet) Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم and the family of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم, And grant me the opportunity to perform Hajj and Umrah, and fasting and charity for Your sake. Then you prostrate and say in your prostration: “O’ Hearer of every voice, O’ Creator of souls after death, O’ He عز وجل whom darknesses do not veil, O’ He عز وجل for whom voices do not become confused, O’ He عز وجل whom nothing distracts from anything else, Grant (Prophet) Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم the best of what He صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم has asked You عز وجل for, and the best of what has been asked for Him صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم, and the best of what You عز وجل are asked for until the Day of Resurrection. And I ask You عز وجل to make me among those whom You عز وجل have freed and released from the Fire. O’ Allah سبحانه وتعالى, send blessings upon (Prophet) Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم and the family of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم, and make well-being my outer and inner garment, and a means of salvation for me from every evil on the Day of Resurrection.”
