And with the same chain of transmission, he—presumably al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī b. Faḍḍāl—said: “It has been said by ʿAlī b. Mūsā al-Riḍā عليه السلام: “Whoever recites the following supplication at the time of his breaking the fast—O’ Allāh, for You we fasted, through Your success, and with Your sustenance we broke our fast, by Your command. So accept it from us and forgive us, for indeed You are the Forgiving, the innately Merciful—Allāh will forgive him of what he missed out on in his fasting, as well as his sins.”
