And with the same chain of transmission, he—presumably al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī b. Faḍḍāl—said: “It has been said by ʿAlī b. Mūsā al-Riḍā عليه السلام: “Whoever gives a beggar a loaf of bread in charity at the time when he is supposed to break his fast, Allāh will forgive him his sins and have recorded for him the reward of freeing a slave from among the descendants of Ismāʿīl.”
