2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from Safwan ibn Yahya from al-‘Ala’ from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘When the Imam delivers the sermon on Friday, it is not desirable for anyone to speak until he completes the sermon. When the Imam completes the sermons he can speak until Salah (prayer) begins, regardless of whether he hears the recitation or not; it is sufficient.’”
