H 252 - A group of scholars informed me from Abu Muhammad Harun from Abu Ali Muhammad bin Himam that Abu Ali said: The following was etched on the ring of Abu Ja’far Samman [Second special deputy of Imam]:

“There is no god except Allah, the true and manifest king.” I asked him about its reason and he replied: Abu Muhammad, Imam Hasan Askari narrated from his respected forefathers that Lady Fatima (s) had a ring with a cornelian. When the last moments of the lady approached, she handed it over to Imam Hasan , when his martyrdom approached, he transferred it to Imam Husain and Imam Husain said: I want to engrave something on it that I saw in dream of Prophet Isa Ibn Maryam , peace be on the prophet and his progeny. I asked him: O Spirit of Allah, what shall I engrave on this ring? He replied: Inscribe: “There is no god except Allah, the true and manifest king,” as it is the first sentence of Taurat and last sentence of Injeel.
