Certain people of al-Madinah criticized him (the Imam) about it. The information reached him (the Imam) and he (the Imam) said, ’Everything that Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, gave to any Prophet, He gave such things to Muhammad ﷺ, and more which He did not give to the Prophets. To Sulayman
He said, “This is our gift. You can give to others or keep it without being questioned.” He said to Muhammad, “What the messenger brings you must take and what he prohibits, you must stay away from it.’” (Deeds of ‘A’immah are of the Sunnah like the deeds of the Holy Prophet)”
