التوبة
al-Tawbah (Repentance)
ٱلتَّوْبَة
9:85
وَلَا
تُعْجِبْكَ
أَمْوَالُهُمْ
وَأَوْلَادُهُمْ
إِنَّمَا
يُرِيدُ
اللَّهُ
أَن
يُعَذِّبَهُم
بِهَا
فِي
الدُّنْيَا
وَتَزْهَقَ
أَنفُسُهُمْ
وَهُمْ
كَافِرُونَ
wa-lā tuʿjibka ʾamwāluhum wa-ʾawlāduhum ʾinnamā yurīdu llāhu ʾan yuʿadhdhibahum bihā fī d-dunyā wa-tazhaqa ʾanfusuhum wa-hum kāfirūna
Their wealth or children should not tempt you; God wants to punish them through these things in this life so that they will die as disbelievers.
