al-Tawbah (Repentance)
ٱلتَّوْبَة
9:62
يَحْلِفُونَ
بِاللَّهِ
لَكُمْ
لِيُرْضُوكُمْ
وَاللَّهُ
وَرَسُولُهُ
أَحَقُّ
أَن
يُرْضُوهُ
إِن
كَانُوا
مُؤْمِنِينَ
yaḥlifūna bi-llāhi lakum li-yurḍūkum wa-llāhu wa-rasūluhū ʾaḥaqqu ʾan yurḍūhu ʾin kānū muʾminīna
They (hypocrites) swear by God in their effort to please you, but if they were true believers (they would know) that God and His Messenger deserve more to be pleased than anyone else.
