al-Tawbah (Repentance)
ٱلتَّوْبَة
9:44
لَا
يَسْتَأْذِنُكَ
الَّذِينَ
يُؤْمِنُونَ
بِاللَّهِ
وَالْيَوْمِ
الْآخِرِ
أَن
يُجَاهِدُوا
بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ
وَأَنفُسِهِمْ
وَاللَّهُ
عَلِيمٌ
بِالْمُتَّقِينَ
lā yastaʾdhinuka lladhīna yuʾminūna bi-llāhi wa-l-yawmi l-ʾākhiri ʾan yujāhidū bi-ʾamwālihim wa-ʾanfusihim wa-llāhu ʿalīmun bi-l-muttaqīna
Those who believe in God and the Day of Judgment do not ask you whether they should fight for the cause of God with their property and in person, or not. God knows all about the pious ones.
