al-A‘rāf (The Elevations)
ٱلْأَعْرَاف
7:30
فَرِيقًا
هَدَى
وَفَرِيقًا
حَقَّ
عَلَيْهِمُ
الضَّلَالَةُ
إِنَّهُمُ
اتَّخَذُوا
الشَّيَاطِينَ
أَوْلِيَاءَ
مِن
دُونِ
اللَّهِ
وَيَحْسَبُونَ
أَنَّهُم
مُّهْتَدُونَ
farīqan hadā wa-farīqan ḥaqqa ʿalayhimu ḍ-ḍalālatu ʾinnahumu ttakhadhū sh-shayāṭīna ʾawliyāʾa min dūni llāhi wa-yaḥsabūna ʾannahum muhtadūna
He has guided one group (of people) and the other group go is doomed to astray; the latter group took Satan as their guardian instead of God and thought that they were rightly guided.
