al-A‘rāf (The Elevations)
ٱلْأَعْرَاف
7:133
فَأَرْسَلْنَا
عَلَيْهِمُ
الطُّوفَانَ
وَالْجَرَادَ
وَالْقُمَّلَ
وَالضَّفَادِعَ
وَالدَّمَ
آيَاتٍ
مُّفَصَّلَاتٍ
فَاسْتَكْبَرُوا
وَكَانُوا
قَوْمًا
مُّجْرِمِينَ
fa-ʾarsalnā ʿalayhimu ṭ-ṭūfāna wa-l-jarāda wa-l-qummala wa-ḍ-ḍafādiʿa wa-d-dama ʾāyātin mufaṣṣalātin fa-stakbarū wa-kānū qawman mujrimīna
We sent upon them widespread calamities: floods of locusts, lice, frogs, and blood. All were distinct miracles but these criminals all the time remained proud.
