ٱلْحَاقَّة

69:10

فَعَصَوْا

رَسُولَ

رَبِّهِمْ

فَأَخَذَهُمْ

أَخْذَةً

رَّابِيَةً

fa-ʿaṣaw rasūla rabbihim fa-ʾakhadhahum ʾakhdhatan rābiyatan

They disobeyed the Messenger of their Lord and He seized them with torment which increased with time.

And they disobeyed

فَعَصَوْا

(the) Messenger

رَسُولَ

(of) their Lord

رَبِّهِمْ

so He seized them

فَأَخَذَهُمْ

(with) a seizure

أَخْذَةً

exceeding

رَّابِيَةً

fa-ʿaṣaw rasūla rabbihim fa-ʾakhadhahum ʾakhdhatan rābiyatan
