al-An‘ām (Cattle)
ٱلْأَنْعَام
6:142
وَمِنَ
الْأَنْعَامِ
حَمُولَةً
وَفَرْشًا
كُلُوا
مِمَّا
رَزَقَكُمُ
اللَّهُ
وَلَا
تَتَّبِعُوا
خُطُوَاتِ
الشَّيْطَانِ
إِنَّهُ
لَكُمْ
عَدُوٌّ
مُّبِينٌ
wa-mina l-ʾanʿāmi ḥamūlatan wa-farshan kulū mimmā razaqakumu llāhu wa-lā tattabiʿū khuṭuwāti sh-shayṭāni ʾinnahū lakum ʿaduwwun mubīnun
God has created animals, both small and large. Eat from what God has given you for your sustenance and do not follow in the footsteps of Satan. He is your sworn enemy.
