الحشر
al-Ḥashr (The Banishment)
ٱلْحَشْر
59:21
لَوْ
أَنزَلْنَا
هَذَا
الْقُرْآنَ
عَلَى
جَبَلٍ
لَّرَأَيْتَهُ
خَاشِعًا
مُّتَصَدِّعًا
مِّنْ
خَشْيَةِ
اللَّهِ
وَتِلْكَ
الْأَمْثَالُ
نَضْرِبُهَا
لِلنَّاسِ
لَعَلَّهُمْ
يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
law ʾanzalnā hādhā l-qurʾāna ʿalā l-jabalin la-raʾaytahū khāshiʿan mutaṣaddiʿan min khashyati llāhi wa-tilka l-ʾamthālu naḍribuhā li-n-nāsi laʿallahum yatafakkarūna
The people of Paradise and hell are not alike; the people of Paradise are the successful ones. Had We sent down this Quran on a mountain, you would have seen it humbled and rent asunder for fear of God. These are parables which We tell to people so that perhaps they will think.
