وَفِي
عَادٍ
إِذْ
أَرْسَلْنَا
عَلَيْهِمُ
الرِّيحَ
الْعَقِيمَ
wa-fī ʿādin ʾidh ʾarsalnā ʿalayhimu r-rīḥa l-ʿaqīma
And in ‘Ad when We unleashed upon them a barren wind.
— Ali Quli Qarai
And in the 'Ad (people) (was another Sign): Behold, We sent against them the devastating Wind:
