al-Mā’idah (The Table)

ٱلْمَائِدَة

5:100

قُل

لَّا

يَسْتَوِي

الْخَبِيثُ

وَالطَّيِّبُ

وَلَوْ

أَعْجَبَكَ

كَثْرَةُ

الْخَبِيثِ

فَاتَّقُوا

اللَّهَ

يَاأُولِي

الْأَلْبَابِ

لَعَلَّكُمْ

تُفْلِحُونَ

qul yastawī l-khabīthu wa-ṭ-ṭayyibu wa-law ʾaʿjabaka kathratu l-khabīthi fa-ttaqū llāha yā-ʾulī l-ʾalbābi laʿallakum tufliḥūna

(Muhammad), say to them, "The pure and filthy are not the same even though the abundance of filth may attract you. Men of reason, have fear of God so that you may have eternal happiness."
