[Pooya/Ali Commentary 48:21] "Other gains" refers to the prevalence of Islam as a moral and spiritual influence in the human society till the end of this world, in all ages. If it is restricted to immediate future then the battles of Hunayn, Tabuk and other advantages the Muslims obtained by steadily reducing the sphere of influence of the disbelievers under the leadership of the Holy Prophet should be construed.
