al-Aḥqāf (Ahqaf)
ٱلْأَحْقَاف
46:21
وَاذْكُرْ
أَخَا
عَادٍ
إِذْ
أَنذَرَ
قَوْمَهُ
بِالْأَحْقَافِ
وَقَدْ
خَلَتِ
النُّذُرُ
مِن
بَيْنِ
يَدَيْهِ
وَمِنْ
خَلْفِهِ
أَلَّا
تَعْبُدُوا
إِلَّا
اللَّهَ
إِنِّي
أَخَافُ
عَلَيْكُمْ
عَذَابَ
يَوْمٍ
عَظِيمٍ
wa-dhkur ʾakhā ʿādin ʾidh ʾandhara qawmahū bi-l-ʾaḥqāfi wa-qad khalati n-nudhuru min bayni yadayhi wa-min khalfihī ʾallā taʿbudū ʾillā llāha ʾinnī ʾakhāfu ʿalaykum ʿadhāba yawmin ʿaẓīmin
(Muhammad), recall the brother of the people of Ad, when he warned his people in the valley of al-ahqaf saying, "There existed many warners before and after him. Do not worship anything other than God. I am afraid for you about the torment of the great Day".
