فَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ

سَلَفًا

وَمَثَلًا

لِّلْآخِرِينَ

fa-jaʿalnāhum salafan wa-mathalan li-l-ʾākhirīna

And We made them (a people) of the Past and an Example to later ages.
