al-Zukhruf (Ornaments)
ٱلْزُّخْرُف
43:49
وَقَالُوا
يَاأَيُّهَ
السَّاحِرُ
ادْعُ
لَنَا
رَبَّكَ
بِمَا
عَهِدَ
عِندَكَ
إِنَّنَا
لَمُهْتَدُونَ
wa-qālū yā-ʾayyuha s-sāḥiru dʿu lanā rabbaka bi-mā ʿahida ʿindaka ʾinnanā la-muhtadūna
They said, "Magician, pray to your Lord for us through your covenant with Him (If he saves us from the torment), we shall certainly seek guidance".
