الزخرف
al-Zukhruf (Ornaments)
ٱلْزُّخْرُف
43:48
وَمَا
نُرِيهِم
مِّنْ
آيَةٍ
إِلَّا
هِيَ
أَكْبَرُ
مِنْ
أُخْتِهَا
وَأَخَذْنَاهُم
بِالْعَذَابِ
لَعَلَّهُمْ
يَرْجِعُونَ
wa-mā nurīhim min ʾāyatin ʾillā hiya ʾakbaru min ʾukhtihā wa-ʾakhadhnāhum bi-l-ʿadhābi laʿallahum yarjiʿūna
Of all the miracles which We showed to them the latter ones were greater than the former. We struck them with torment so that perhaps they would return to Us.
