بَلْ
قَالُوا
إِنَّا
وَجَدْنَا
آبَاءَنَا
عَلَى
أُمَّةٍ
وَإِنَّا
عَلَى
آثَارِهِم
مُّهْتَدُونَ
bal qālū ʾinnā wajadnā ʾābāʾanā ʿalā ʾummatin wa-ʾinnā ʿalā ʾāthārihim muhtadūna
Nay! they say: "We found our fathers following a certain religion, and we do guide ourselves by their footsteps."
