al-Zukhruf (Ornaments)

ٱلْزُّخْرُف

43:21

أَمْ

آتَيْنَاهُمْ

كِتَابًا

مِّن

قَبْلِهِ

فَهُم

بِهِ

مُسْتَمْسِكُونَ

ʾam ʾātaynāhum kitāban min qablihī fa-hum bihī mustamsikūna

Had We, before sending the Quran, given them a book to which they now refer as an authority?

Or

أَمْ

have We given them

آتَيْنَاهُمْ

a book

كِتَابًا

before it

مِّن

قَبْلِهِ

so they

فَهُم
