al-Zukhruf (Ornaments)
ٱلْزُّخْرُف
43:19
وَجَعَلُوا
الْمَلَائِكَةَ
الَّذِينَ
هُمْ
عِبَادُ
الرَّحْمَنِ
إِنَاثًا
أَشَهِدُوا
خَلْقَهُمْ
سَتُكْتَبُ
شَهَادَتُهُمْ
وَيُسْأَلُونَ
wa-jaʿalū l-malāʾikata lladhīna hum ʿibādu r-raḥmāni ʾināthan ʾa-shahidū khalqahum sa-tuktabu shahādatuhum wa-yusʾalūna
Do they say that the angels, who are the servants of the Beneficent God, are females? Have they witnessed their creation? Their words as such will be recorded and they will be questioned for it.
