Yā Sīn (Ya Sin)

يس

36:13

وَاضْرِبْ

لَهُم

مَّثَلًا

أَصْحَابَ

الْقَرْيَةِ

إِذْ

جَاءَهَا

الْمُرْسَلُونَ

wa-ḍrib lahum mathalan ʾaṣḥāba l-qaryati ʾidh jāʾahā l-mursalūna

Tell them the story of the people of the town to whom Messengers came.

And set forth

وَاضْرِبْ

to them

لَهُم

an example

مَّثَلًا

(of the) companions

أَصْحَابَ

(of) the city

الْقَرْيَةِ

when

إِذْ

came to it

the Messengers
