آلِ عِمْرَان
3:156
يَا أَيُّهَا
الَّذِينَ
آمَنُوا
لَا
تَكُونُوا
كَالَّذِينَ
كَفَرُوا
وَقَالُوا
لِإِخْوَانِهِمْ
إِذَا
ضَرَبُوا
فِي
الْأَرْضِ
أَوْ
كَانُوا
غُزًّى
لَّوْ
كَانُوا
عِندَنَا
مَا
مَاتُوا
وَمَا
قُتِلُوا
لِيَجْعَلَ
اللَّهُ
ذَلِكَ
حَسْرَةً
فِي
قُلُوبِهِمْ
وَاللَّهُ
يُحْيِي
وَيُمِيتُ
وَاللَّهُ
بِمَا
تَعْمَلُونَ
بَصِيرٌ
yā-ʾayyuhā lladhīna ʾāmanū lā takūnū ka-lladhīna kafarū wa-qālū li-ʾikhwānihim ʾidhā ḍarabū fī l-ʾarḍi ʾaw kānū ghuzzan law kānū ʿindanā mā mātū wa-mā qutilū li-yajʿala llāhu dhālika ḥasratan fī qulūbihim wa-llāhu yuḥyī wa-yumītu wa-llāhu bi-mā taʿmalūna baṣīrun
Believers, do not be like the unbelievers, who said of their brothers who travelled in the land or took part in a fight, "Had they stayed with us, they would not have died or been killed." God will only cause regret to enter their hearts. It is God who gives life and causes people to die. God is Well Aware of what you do.
