al-Qaṣaṣ (The Story)

ٱلْقَصَص

28:38

وَقَالَ

فِرْعَوْنُ

يَاأَيُّهَا

الْمَلَأُ

مَا

عَلِمْتُ

لَكُم

مِّنْ

إِلَهٍ

غَيْرِي

فَأَوْقِدْ

لِي

يَاهَامَانُ

عَلَى

الطِّينِ

فَاجْعَل

لِّي

صَرْحًا

لَّعَلِّي

أَطَّلِعُ

إِلَى

إِلَهِ

مُوسَى

وَإِنِّي

لَأَظُنُّهُ

مِنَ

الْكَاذِبِينَ

wa-qāla firʿawnu yā-ʾayyuhā l-malaʾu ʿalimtu lakum min ʾilāhin ghayrī fa-ʾawqid yā-hāmānu ʿalā ṭ-ṭīni fa-jʿal ṣarḥan laʿallī ʾaṭṭaliʿu ʾilā ʾilāhi mūsā wa-ʾinnī la-ʾaẓunnuhū mina l-kādhibīna

The Pharaoh said, "My people, I know no one who could be your lord besides myself. Haman, construct for me a tower of baked bricks so that I may climb on it and see the God of Moses; I think he is a liar."
