Al Mu’minūn (The Believers)

ٱلْمُؤْمِنُون

23:80

wa-huwa lladhī yuḥyī wa-yumītu wa-lahu khtilāfu l-layli wa-n-nahāri ʾa-fa-lā taʿqilūna

And it is He who gives life and brings death, and due to Him is the alternation of day and night. Do you not exercise your reason?

ٱلْمُؤْمِنُون

And He

وَهُوَ

(is) the One Who

الَّذِي

gives life

يُحْيِي

and causes death

وَيُمِيتُ

and for Him

وَلَهُ

(is the) alternation

اخْتِلَافُ

(of) the night

اللَّيْلِ

and the day

وَالنَّهَارِ

Then will not

أَفَلَا

you reason

تَعْقِلُونَ

And He

وَهُوَ
