al-Anbiyā’ (The Prophets)

ٱلْأَنْبِيَاء

21:1

اقْتَرَبَ

لِلنَّاسِ

حِسَابُهُمْ

وَهُمْ

فِي

غَفْلَةٍ

مُّعْرِضُونَ

iqtaraba li-n-nāsi ḥisābuhum wa-hum fī ghaflatin muʿriḍūna

The people's day of reckoning is drawing closer, yet they are heedlessly neglectful.

اقْتَرَبَ

for [the] mankind

لِلنَّاسِ

their account

حِسَابُهُمْ

while they

وَهُمْ

turning away

مُّعْرِضُونَ
