al-Baqarah (The Cow)
ٱلْبَقَرَة
2:79
فَوَيْلٌ
لِّلَّذِينَ
يَكْتُبُونَ
الْكِتَابَ
بِأَيْدِيهِمْ
ثُمَّ
يَقُولُونَ
هَذَا
مِنْ
عِندِ
اللَّهِ
لِيَشْتَرُوا
بِهِ
ثَمَنًا
قَلِيلًا
فَوَيْلٌ
لَّهُم
مِّمَّا
كَتَبَتْ
أَيْدِيهِمْ
وَوَيْلٌ
لَّهُم
مِّمَّا
يَكْسِبُونَ
fa-waylun li-lladhīna yaktubūna l-kitāba bi-ʾaydīhim thumma yaqūlūna hādhā min ʿindi llāhi li-yashtarū bihī thamanan qalīlan fa-waylun lahum mimmā katabat ʾaydīhim wa-waylun lahum mimmā yaksibūna
Woe to those who write the Book themselves and say, "This is from God," so that they may sell it for a small price! Woe unto them for what they have done and for what they have gained!
