فَمَا
آمَنَ
لِمُوسَى
إِلَّا
ذُرِّيَّةٌ
مِّن
قَوْمِهِ
عَلَى
خَوْفٍ
مِّن
فِرْعَوْنَ
وَمَلَئِهِمْ
أَن
يَفْتِنَهُمْ
وَإِنَّ
فِرْعَوْنَ
لَعَالٍ
فِي
الْأَرْضِ
وَإِنَّهُ
لَمِنَ
الْمُسْرِفِينَ
fa-mā ʾāmana li-mūsā ʾillā dhurriyyatun min qawmihī ʿalā khawfin min firʿawna wa-malaʾihim ʾan yaftinahum wa-ʾinna firʿawna la-ʿālin fī l-ʾarḍi wa-ʾinnahū la-mina l-musrifīna
No one believed in Moses except some young people of his own tribe who were at the same time very afraid of the persecution of the Pharaoh and his people. The Pharaoh was certainly a tyrant and a transgressor.
