عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ لِلدَّابَّةِ عَلَى صَاحِبِهَا سِتَّةُ حُقُوقٍ لَا يُحَمِّلُهَا فَوْقَ طَاقَتِهَا وَ لَا يَتَّخِذُ ظَهْرَهَا مَجَالِسَ يَتَحَدَّثُ عَلَيْهَا وَ يَبْدَأُ بِعَلْفِهَا إِذَا نَزَلَ وَ لَا يَسِمُهَا وَ لَا يَضْرِبُهَا فِي وَجْهِهَا فَإِنَّهَا تُسَبِّحُ وَ يَعْرِضُ عَلَيْهَا الْمَاءَ إِذَا مَرَّ بِهِ .
1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from af-Nawfafiy from af-Sakuniy who has said the following: “Abu ‘ Abd Allah , has said, ‘A stumper has six rights on its owner. He must not load more than its power. He must not take its back as a meeting place to keep talking from there. He must feed it as soon as he disembarks, must not mark it with burns, or hit it on its face because it says Tasbih (Allah is free of all defects) and offer it water whenever passing by water.’”
