Al-Kāfi - Volume 6 > Al-Kohl (The Eye Powder): Antimony
Hadith #10

10. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Muhammad ibn Sinan from Hammad ibn ‘Isa who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘Applying eye powder grows hairs, dries up tears, sweetens saliva and sharpens eyesight.’”
