عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ مُيَسِّرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ أَوْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فَلْيَنْظُرْ أَيُّها أَزْكى طَعاماً فَلْيَأْتِكُمْ بِرِزْقٍ مِنْهُ قَالَ أَزْكَى طَعَاماً التَّمْرُ .


1. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from Ibrahim ibn ‘Uqbah from Muyassir from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd ‘Abd al-’Aziz from his father who has said the following: “About the meaning of the words of Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, ‘. . . he must find clean and pure food and must bring thereof for you for your sustenance 5 (18:9) abu Ja‘far, or abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhim al-Salam, has said, ‘Dates are the most pure food.’”
