عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَصَمِّ عَنْ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام )
قَالَ قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) نِعْمَ الْإِدَامُ الْخَلُّ يَكْسِرُ الْمِرَّةَ وَ يُطْفِئُ الصَّفْرَاءَ وَ يُحْيِي الْقَلْبَ .
7. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from certain persons of our people from ‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman al-Asamm from Shu’ayb from abu Basir who have said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin has said, ‘
The best sauce is vinegar, it breaks bitterness, (bile) extinguishes yellowness (gall) and brings the heart to life.’”
