عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ هَارُونَ بْنِ مُوَفَّقٍ الْمَدِينِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
بَعَثَ إِلَيَّ الْمَاضِي ( عليه السلام ) يَوْماً فَأَكَلْتُ عِنْدَهُ وَ أَكْثَرَ مِنَ الْحَلْوَاءِ فَقُلْتُ مَا أَكْثَرَ هَذِهِ الْحَلْوَاءَ فَقَالَ ( عليه السلام ) إِنَّا وَ شِيعَتَنَا خُلِقْنَا مِنَ الْحَلَاوَةِ فَنَحْنُ نُحِبُّ الْحَلْوَاءَ .
1. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ahmad ibn Harun ibn Muwaffaq al-Madiniy from his father who has said the following:
“Once al-Madiy (the previous) abu al-Hassan ‘Alayhi al-Salam, called me for food and I ate food with him. He (the Imam) ate quite a bit of al-Halwa’ (sweet) and I said, ‘This is quite a bit of al-HalwaY He (the Imam) said, ‘I and our followers are created from sweetness; thus we like sweet.’”
