عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْمَغْرَاءِ عَنْ زَيْدٍ الشَّحَّامِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) أَنَّهُ كَرِهَ أَنْ يَمْسَحَ الرَّجُلُ يَدَهُ بِالْمِنْدِيلِ وَ فِيهَا شَيْ‏ءٌ مِنَ الطَّعَامِ تَعْظِيماً لِلطَّعَامِ حَتَّى يَمُصَّهَا أَوْ يَكُونَ عَلَى جَنْبِهِ صَبِيٌّ يَمُصُّهَا .


3. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Faddal from abu al-Mighra’ from Zayd al-Shahham who has said the following: “Abu ’Abd Allah (a.s), disliked wiping his hands with a towel because of food stains due to sanctity of food, until he (the Imam) absorbed them or a child next to him (the Imam) did so.’”
