عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام )
أَنَّ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) سُئِلَ عَنِ الْقَرْعِ يُذْبَحُ فَقَالَ الْقَرْعُ لَيْسَ يُذَكَّى فَكُلُوهُ وَ لَا تَذْبَحُوهُ وَ لَا يَسْتَهْوِيَنَّكُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ لَعَنَهُ اللَّهُ .
1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from af-Nawfafiy from af-Sakuniy who has said the following:
“Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin was asked about squash if it needs to be slaughtered. He (the Imam) said, ‘Squash does not need slaughtering. Do not slaughter it and do not allow Satan, may Allah condemn him, to seduce you.’”
