1. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘ Abd Allah from al-Hassan ibn Ali from abu ‘Uthman in a marfu ‘ manner who has said the following:

“Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, removed leprosy from Jews because of their eating beets and their cutting the veins.’”
