1. Muhammad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah has narrated from Mu‘awiyah ibn Hakam from Safwan and Ali ibn al-Husayn ibn Ribat from abu Ayyub al-Khazzaz from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following:

“I once asked abu Ja‘far , about choices. He (the Imam) said, ‘Who is he and what is that; it was something only for the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause.’”
