1. Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from ibn Sama‘ah from Muhammad ibn Ziyad from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan and Mu‘awiyah ibn ‘Ammar who has said the following: “I once asked abu ’Abd Allah , about the case of a widow; if she must complete her waiting period in her home or wherever she wants. He (the Imam) said, ’It is wherever she wants; Ali , brought ’Umm Kulthum to his home when ‘Umar died.’”
