2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Mu‘awiyah ibn Wahab who has said the following:
“Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said that Fatimah
offered ‘Aqiqah for her two sons, shaved their heads on the seventh day, and gave in charity equal to the weight of their hairs of leaf (silver or gold).’ He (the Imam) has said that 'people would stain the head of the child with the blood of the animal for ‘Aqiqah and my father would say that it is a practice of pagans.’”
